Jessica Mendoza
JESSICA MENDOZA
is a two-time Olympian (Gold ’04 / Silver ’08). She has
been a member of the USA Women’s National Softball team
since ’01. Jessica is women’s softball most dynamic
and dominant offensive athlete in the world today. In
the ’08 pre-Olympic tour (60 games), Jessica hit an
incredible .495 with 21 HR, 107 RBI, 89 runs scored and
a whopping .971 slugging percentage. In addition to the
power numbers, Jessica is arguably one of the best slap
hitters on the USA Softball national team. Jessica was
named the ’06 USA Softball Female Athlete of the Year.
In ‘06, Jessica was named the World Championship’s
Offensive MVP. At the Japan Cup series, Jessica has
received the Best Batter Award in ‘02, ‘05, ‘06.
Jessica is a Stanford graduate where she was a four time
NFCA First-team All-American (‘99-‘02) and Pac-10 Player
of the Year in ‘00.
Jessica is set to become President of the Women's Sports
Foundation in January 2009.
