Emily Friedman

Emily Friedman is in her second year as Assistant Coach at Fordham University. Prior to joining the staff at Fordham, Emily spent the 2007 season as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont.

Emily is a 2006 graduate of the University of California-Berkeley where she played two years at second base for Coach Diane Ninemire. Emily's collegiate career started at the University of Wisconsin, where she was named Freshman of the Year. Emily transferred to Cal in 2005 where she helped Cal win the Pac-10 Championship and a berth in the College World Series. In 2006, Emily earned Pac-10 Honorable Mention and Academic All-American honors as a senior.

Emily has continued her playing career with the Philadelphia Force in the National Professional Fastpitch League, where she just finished her fourth year with the team.
