Bridgette Quimpo
Bridgette Quimpo is the Head Softball coach for New Jersey City University. Bridgette has led NJCU to the Women.s Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in 2004 and 2005. In her four seasons at the school, Bridgette has produced numerous All-Conference performers including six first-team selections in 2005. Bridgette is also an
assistant coach for Team New Jersey, a nationally prominent Gold team, where she coached alongside legendary pitching coach Ernie Parker, who has mentored many well-known Olympic pitchers such as Lisa Fernandez. In January 2007, Bridgette was a featured speaker at the Big Apple Coaches Convention.
As a player, Bridgette played collegiately for the Unversity of South Carolina-Aiken from 1998-2001. She was the team MVP in 2001 and was the Most Outstanding Defensive player after finishing the season with 1.000 fielding percentage as a catcher. In 2002, Bridgette earned a United States Olympic team tryout. In 2003, Bridgette played catcher and outfielder for the NJ Divas, which won the ASA National Championship. Bridgette was selected to ASA First-Team All-American team as a catcher in 2004 and 2006.
